Tianjin 729 Sports Equipment Co., Ltd. is an equipment manufacturer wholly-owned by Tianjin Bohua Chemical Rubber Co., Ltd. and certified by ITTF to meet the requirements of international A-level competitions.
In 1971, the China National Table Tennis Team returned to the world table tennis family after a four-year hiatus, however, due to the backwardness of the table tennis equipment used, they lost 2 gold medals in men’s singles and women’s team events. After the competition, Tianjin Rubber Industry Research Institute took on the arduous task of developing new types of rubber pimples. Till September 1972, a piece of sticky rubber that perfectly combines “elasticity” and “friction” born in Tianjin Rubber Industry Research Institute, and it was named “Friendship 729”, and “729” embarked on a glorious historical stage from then on.
729 professional table tennis equipment has achieved 64 world champions successively, Xienting, Huyulan, Lianggeliang, Shizhihao, Tongling, Guoyuehua, Caizhenhua, Qiaohong, Dengyaping, Wangnan, Liuguoliang, and so on, had used the divine weapon of “729” to ascend to the world podium.
While continuously innovating in technology, 729 has always inherited the industry philosophy of “quality first”, and have taken the lead in obtaining ISO9001 enterprise certification in table tennis field and have introduced ERP management systems, timely production, and 5S on-site management to provide high-quality product.
729 is the founder of Chinese made sponge rubber. Currently, the table tennis equipment led by the “729” brand includes 7 categories and hundreds of specifications, achieving full coverage in the table tennis product industry, at the same time, the product has been extended to fields such as badminton, football, basketball, volleyball, and the sports equipment, gradually transforming 729 from a single table tennis manufacturer into a sports industry group.
